It is Nov 24 and the Kansas Whitetail rut is winding down. We have noticed with annual rainfall numbers lower that deer antlers seem to be weaker and broken much more this year than years in past. We have seen large numbers of young bucks (2.5 -3.5 year olds) this year. Gun Season is day?s away get out and experience the Kansas spot and stalk of a lifetime.

Was out in Western Kansas filling feeders and checking game cameras this weekend. The amount of deer traffic was unbelieavable I asume it is due to our drought. Usually during this time of year our feeders do not compete much with green alfalfa feilds but the drought must be effecting this trend of the Deer already coming to corn/protein feeders.
