10 Gauge Outfitters offers:
Habitat Conservation Efforts
As a company deeply invested in the land and hunting experience, we understand the ongoing challenges in maintaining the health and ideal conditions of the terrains we hunt. Through our membership with Pheasants Forever, we’ve seen tremendous efforts to give back to the community, resulting in the improvement of millions of acres of land. These initiatives safeguard soils, clean up waterways, and maintain critical life forms, plants, and bio-organisms, providing pheasants with a thriving ecosystem—ensuring that our hunting experiences remain rich and sustainable.

Public Access Initiatives
One of the significant initiatives we support is the Public Access Initiative, introduced as a bill in 2023. This initiative incentivizes private landowners to voluntarily open their land to public use, allowing more opportunities for upland game hunts, fishing, and other outdoor activities. For us at 10 Gauge Outfitters, this is a win-win, as it not only benefits the public but also promotes land improvement and restoration—key aspects of our own conservation goals.
Land Restoration Projects
Restoring and maintaining our land is a priority for us. Pheasants Forever’s approach, which includes planting native plants and implementing soil health management practices, aligns perfectly with our values. These efforts are essential in preserving the productivity and health of the land, ensuring that future generations can continue to enjoy the hunting experiences we value so much.
Importance of Habitat for Pheasants
Pheasants, being non-migratory, rely heavily on the availability of food, water, space, and shelter in their immediate environment. At 10 Gauge Outfitters, we support Pheasants Forever’s mission to promote wild diversity and the health of ecosystems. By providing ideal nesting cover and tailored landscapes, they help ensure the growth of pheasant populations, which in turn enhances hunting opportunities for our clients.
Education and Advocacy
Education is a cornerstone of our support for Pheasants Forever. By spreading the mission through education, we can advocate for greater involvement in this critical cause. We believe that educating the next generation is essential for preserving our land and culture, making hunting safer and more sustainable for all. At 10 Gauge Outfitters, we see this as an investment in the future of both hunting and conservation.

Youth Programs and Outreach
Investing in the future of conservation is something we take seriously. Through Pheasants Forever’s youth programs, over 5,000 participants each year are educated on the importance of land and hunting safety. This aligns with our commitment at 10 Gauge Outfitters to ensure that future generations are well-equipped to carry forward the traditions and responsibilities of conservation.
Conservation Education
Conservation education is vital in helping people of all ages understand and appreciate our country’s natural resources. At 10 Gauge Outfitters, we support Pheasants Forever’s efforts to continually adapt and find new information to improve ecosystem and wildlife management. This lifelong learning process is a heritage we proudly share as part of the hunting community.
Policy and Advocacy Work
As a grassroots member of Pheasants Forever, 10 Gauge Outfitters is committed to combining resources with others to influence conservation policy. Whether in Washington, D.C., or at state capitals, our goal is to push for legislation that benefits both public and private lands. By supporting these efforts, we help shape the future of hunting and land preservation, ensuring that our voices are heard and our values represented.
