Located in the Heartland
At 10 Gauge, to us it’s not just an outfitting business. It’s an outfitting way of life. We don’t do this part time. We’re not farmers. We do this year round. We’re located in Kinsley, Kansas, which is called Midway, USA. It’s 1561 miles to New York City, 1561 miles to San Francisco. So we’re right smack dab in the middle of the great U.S. of A. With unsurpassed hunting, lodging, we guarantee you will not find another outfitter as dedicated to hunting as us.
Highlights: Our lodge has 8 bedrooms and 6 bathrooms, wireless internet, 2 large screen TV’s, full bar and soda machine, custom poker table, mudroom for all your hunting gear and even a full kitchen at your disposal.
Entertainment: Fire-pit, Bar, Poker Table, Shooting Range, Sporting Clays.

*If clients wish to have dinner upon arrival – Dinner is served at 7:00 pm. Communicate with our staff on your arrival to ensure you have a warm meal waiting for you if you wish.

*Non-shooting guest rate $350/per night
*To secure your hunt dates 10 Gauge requires a 50% deposit. Deposits are non-refundable and 10 Gauge requires that 90 days prior to arrival your balance is paid in full for the hunt. Prior to 90 day arrival window, hunt dates are eligible to be rescheduled in the current season – within the 90 day arrival period no rescheduling of hunt dates is allowed.
Pheasant Hunt Information
Our pheasant hunts open on the second Saturday in November and runs through to the end of January. This short season means we’re in high demand and full throttle during those weeks so make sure to book as soon as possible.
Kansas has a 4 rooster per day bag limit with 16 in possession for travel. Pheasants in possession for transportation must retain intact a foot, plumage, or some part that will determine sex.
Check the Kansas Dept of Wildlife and Parks website for Licenses requirements. You will need a general Kansas hunting license to hunt pheasant and quail.
